A stranger seen around town, Calliope has acted as a gym teacher in the past but has become more reclusive, tending to her garden to donate oddly colored fruits and vegetables to the needy, (and to Roesler's crew) a practice that she started during so long ago, when for a time fog had covered the island. She is openly of faerie, even if she sometimes chooses to visit town wearing skin and the faces of her loved ones along with outrageous outfits.
