The Carnaby Cafe is a new addition, opening a week after the patisserie across the street. The cafe offers more staple British fare and their coffee and drinks are what they are most known for, as well as the ongoing rivalry with the patisserie. 

Patisserie Celeste is surprisingly new and has been a business that the town council has pointed to when claiming that the borough is rebounding.

Serving fine French pasteries and chocolates, along with cafe au lait and even delicate high tea spreads. 

The antiques store has long closed. A tree grows through the center of it, books rot in corners and the roof offers little shelter. It is one of many places in town that is lost and forgotten and mostly provides a bit of shelter from prying eyes or some of the chill of winter nights.

XII is a relatively new addition. Formerly Fischel's Books, the dreadful incident resulting in the former owner taking residence in the asylum has seen the business take new ownership. These days, they trade in rare and import books with rumors of truly exceptional items located in the back under lock and key

St. George is the oldest building on Callisto. It has held weddings, funerals, baptisms and catechisms.

Behind it stretches the Callisto graveyard, divided by the river and extending over into the Japanese section of town. The graveyard is always open to visits from loved ones to their dearly departed.

Another new business, the photography shop is a recent addition to Carnaby Square and has been a popular novelty as the photographs are relatively inexpensive but surprisingly high quality thanks to a camera purchased from a graduate of the Academy's technology program.

This shop housed the last town doctor before they shuttered shop to move off of the island. It still holds all the supplies and furniture needed to tend injuries in a pinch provided you don't mind a little breaking and entering.

Murphy's is a popular stop for those working and living on this side of the river. The pub offers hearty food and beer on tap. The clients are usually working and merchant class as the prices remain affordable for an evening's meal or a night of drinking with the boys.

The apothecary provides western medicines to the island, from laudanum and opium to the modern wonders of morphine and heroin as well as fresh prepared herbal tinctures and potions. 

A small shop that supplies custom clothing and tailoring as well as mending services. Though the shop is small, it serves both masculine and feminine profiles. 

Part of the rundown downtown, La Croix was once an excellent place to get tinctures but it has faded into disrepair like so much of the harbor. These days, it caters to the occult minded crowd, holding seances of dubious quality in the back room.

The overworked and understaffed island police work out of a building squished between the pub and the curios shop. The back room holds a single cell mostly used for the occasional drunk tank roundup. Oddly enough, few serious criminals find themselves dealing with the constables. 

If you need to lay a loved one to the permanent rest, Dreadmore Mortuary handles all of the dead of the island with all due reverence. With a show room on the main floor to plan their funeral to a parlor upstairs to hold the ceremony itself. Dreadmore has a longstanding relationship with St. George and interring in the cemetery.
